Simi & Falz Set To Release Joint EP Titled ‘Chemistry’

Simi has revealed she and Falz will be dropping a jointEP to be titled “Chemistry”.Both artistes seem to want to capitalize on the hearsay goinground that the pair are dating, or should date given theirgood chemistry seen in their collaborative videos.The pair have both worked on Simi’s‘Jamb question’& Falz’s‘Soldier’featuring Simi which was a spin-off to ‘Jamb question’.The X3M Music act also confirmed there would be a sequelto the ‘Soldier’ movie trailer but failed to disclose whenexactly it would be out.Simi has released an initial EP,“Restless”which consists of covers of foreign songs such asBeyonce’s ‘Halo’, Adele’s ‘Set fire to the rain’ & Drake’s ‘Marvin’s Room’among others, where shechanged the lyrics and stories of the songs to introduce her style of music & released it as an independent project before joining X3M music.The singer’s “Restless” EP helped get her signed to X3Mmusic when the CEO of the label got hold of her cover ofDrake’s ‘Marvin’s room’.The vocalist on signing to X3M music broke out with a love single titled ‘Tiff’ in 2014 and she has since released other singles which has steadily gained her wider acceptance & recognition as a gifted singer and artiste.The“Chemistry” EPwould serve as a precursor toher sophomore album which she said should drop this year 2016.The album would follow her debut gospel album “Ogaju”, produced by Samklef which houses the popular song ‘Ara ile’.
